I don’t really know where to start on this post. It seems that this is the first time in the last few weeks where I have had hours to myself to think. Now what do I do with it.

Sin. I have been acutely aware of stuff that has been going on with people around me recently and it has been eye opening in that ... im not alone or perfect. Nuff said on that.

PAX. OMG. OMG. OMG. I wish I could say more about this too. But I can’t. If you are going to PAX this year, this year will be better than last year by alot.

Wedding. I’m on the home stretch. Next Saturday is when it all goes down.

I have been miraculously provided for in the last few days. Let me tell you about it.

I was having issues with my current cell phone and was considering a switch to a new phone / provider carrier combo. This would be a pretty big hit on me financially so I decided to make the decision after the wedding. A couple days ago one of my office-mates walks into my office and hands a phone to me and says its a donation. I took it and got it to work on the TMobile network. Provision.
I had to cancel my honeymoon reservation :-( due to budget (lack thereof) issues. I was able to combine a bunch of RewardsPoints (like frequent flyer miles...) on my credit card and we will most likely be able to spend a day or two in a super sweet hotel for not alot of money out of pocket. Provision.
Jennifer’s mom was given a ticket to fly out here a week before the wedding. This is a huge deal for Jennifer and I’m happy for her. Provision.
My parents took Jennifer and me out to dinner tonight and my mom offered to start learning sign language with no encouragement from me. Provision.

In other news I have a pastor staying with me in my old apartment. I was able to provide for him. This is super cool.

Laundry List

I haven’t been online alot other than to check email, read a few things and then off to go do something else. Here is what I have been up to.

Preparing for Marriage
This has been forefront in my mind for a long time now. With less than a month to go, things are starting to come together:

- We have an officiant for our wedding. Surprise on who it is.
- Location, reception, and photographer are taken care of
- Tuxes for the guys are on order. Pick up two days prior to event.
- Jennifer has been busy with decorations and flowery things.
Alot of people have stepped up and offered to help us. This has been a real blessing

iPhone
So. Yea. I won’t be getting the iPhone for at least a month or two. I’m not too worried about it. When I do though, I’m hoping to start learning to dev for realsies.

Moving
The picture is a picture of the apartment building we will hopefully be moving into. I’m pretty stoked by this, but I don’t like the cheapness of the apartment manager. I want them to actually fix a few things.

Work
Junxion asked me to do some contract work. It’s interesting, knowing that you are needed by them, but then seeing them totally low ball you in an attempt to get you to do stuff for them. I deflected the low ball offer that I got (like this offer was so low that Volt would be surprised) with one that was more in line with what I was thinking. I got an email saying basically “we are poor. kthanxbai.” Its been great working this new job for the last few weeks.
